
Kevin Barber will be on the investor panel that will help evaluate the company pitches at the 23rd Annual Investors Choice® Venture Capital Conference in Salt Lake City.
Kevin Barber's Bio
Kevin Barber brings over 12 years of experience as a financial and business analyst in software, high technology manufacturing and venture capital. Prior to joining NWVA, he was a principal at Poseidon Ventures, a Seattle-based early stage venture capital fund. Preceding Poseidon Kevin spent three years at Visio, a business diagramming and technical drawing software company, where he held various senior financial and strategic planning positions. (Microsoft acquired Visio for $1.5 billion in 2000.) Kevin also spent three years at Hewlett Packard as a financial analyst in its inkjet business unit. Earlier in his career, he worked on Capitol Hill as a legislative aid to U.S. Senator Frank Murkowski. Kevin serves on the executive industry board of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and on the board of the Washington Software Alliance's annual investment forum. He has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Seattle University and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Washington.
Kevin is a director of Front Porch Classics and Dategrity.
