Formed in 1983, the Wayne Brown Institute (WBI) runs the oldest and most successful non-profit venture accelerator program in the country. Most importantly, WBI’s accelerator program helps technical entrepreneurs from every social economic level raise money for their businesses. WBI’s network of experienced and knowledgeable mentors has assisted over 580 promising high-tech companies. These alumni companies have raised a combined $1.4 billion in private equity since participating in an Institute accelerator program.
