
Geoff Woolley is the founder and chairman of the investment committee of the successful University Venture Fund, a Utah student-run venture capital firm. Geoff has been an entrepreneur most of his life, founding both Dominion Ventures, Inc. and European Venture Partners. Geoff was also recently appointed to the board of directors of Utah's $100 million Fund of Funds. Over the past 20 years, he has worked with over 300 emerging growth companies including successes such as Bookham, Ceina, Coinstar, Hotmail, Human Genome Science, Rivoli and Vertiex Pharmaceuticals. He also is on the Board of Directors of Unitus, a non-profit that is alleviating poverty through microfinance. He received his bachelor's degree at Brigham Young University and his MBA at the University of Utah.
